Said to be one of the biggest summer festivals held in the world today, the Sydney Festival attracts people from Sydney as well as foreign countries. The success-rate of the festival can be assumed from the fact that Sydney festival has expanded almost twice its size in the past five years. And this year is expected to be even bigger and better.

a)      Chernobyl Diaries

The Chernobyl Diaries is an American horror film which tarred Jesse McCartney. It’s loosely based on the book The Diary of Oxford written by Oren Peli. A group of teenagers go for a trip across Europe on their way to Moscow. They stop in a small town in Ukraine and go on an adventure in Prypiat where the infamous Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant was present.

They find a friendly tour guide called Yuri who takes them through the banned areas of the plant. One of them sees a few fish attacking a piece of food monstrously but none of them pay much attention to that. The rest of the night is followed by gruesome noises and mutants affected in the Chernobyl Mishap attack them. Finally one girl named Natalie makes it. But finally while she is in the hospital she gets thrown in a room where she hears noises and gets attacked again before the screen turns black to the credits.

The film is set in the year 1818 and Benjamin walker plays Abraham Lincoln who lives there with his parents. But what seemed like a simple murder case turns into an exploration into alien invasion with lots of gore, incredible explosions and some of the riskiest comedy to hit our screens since Bridesmaids.
